Apr\u00e8s la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie officielle du 13 mai \u00e0 Kval\u00f8ya, la plus grande \u00eele int\u00e9rieure de Norv\u00e8ge, le MS St\u00f8dig est entr\u00e9 en service pour l’op\u00e9rateur Asbj\u00f8rn Selsbane AS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

St\u00f8dig signifie stable, et il remplace l’original, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 vendu en 2020. Il op\u00e9rera dans les eaux nordiques, chassant au large principalement le poisson blanc, qui sera livr\u00e9 frais ou sous forme de poisson vivant. Le St\u00f8dig est \u00e9galement \u00e9quip\u00e9 pour cibler les crevettes et les crabes des neiges, qui seront congel\u00e9s \u00e0 bord. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le navire mesure 39 m\u00e8tres de long et 11,5 m\u00e8tres de large. L’architecte naval Kent Damgaard est directeur de Karstensens Skibsv\u00e6rft A\/S. Il explique : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il s’agit de notre nouvelle construction 467, dont la coque a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite dans nos installations de Gdynia, et la propulsion est assur\u00e9e par un Yanmar<\/a>6EY22AW<\/a> d’une puissance de 1 370BHP \u00e0 900RPM, choisi en collaboration avec l’op\u00e9rateur. C’est une p\u00e9riode int\u00e9ressante pour s’occuper de propulsion marine, car nous sommes confront\u00e9s \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de la transition \u00e9cologique. Des solutions techniques pour les carburants alternatifs, voire \u00e0 z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission, sont en effet disponibles, mais l’infrastructure et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l’approvisionnement laissent \u00e0 d\u00e9sirer. C’est pourquoi le St\u00f8dig est con\u00e7u sur la base de carburants conventionnels, mais optimis\u00e9 en profondeur. Cela signifie que l’on recherche une am\u00e9lioration de l’\u00e9conomie en pourcentage. Dans le cas pr\u00e9sent, nous avons utilis\u00e9 au mieux le couple disponible en installant un moteur plus petit avec une h\u00e9lice plus grande. En tenant compte du profil de service du navire, l’optimisation des performances de remorquage par rapport \u00e0 l’alimentation en carburant permet de r\u00e9duire au maximum l’impact carbone.
