Pour la troisi\u00e8me fois, l’op\u00e9rateur norv\u00e9gien HP Holmeset A.S. a command\u00e9 un nouveau palangrier – appel\u00e9 Geir – \u00e0 l’architecte naval norv\u00e9gien Skipsteknisk. Avec une longueur totale de 61,80 m\u00e8tres et une largeur de 13,50 m\u00e8tres, le nouveau palangrier est l’un des navires les plus grands et les plus modernes de sa cat\u00e9gorie. Yanmar a fourni les moteurs de propulsion et les moteurs auxiliaires pour cette pi\u00e8ce ma\u00eetresse. <\/p>\n\n

Moteurs de propulsion et moteurs auxiliaires<\/h2>\n\n

Geir est propuls\u00e9 par le tr\u00e8s fiable moteur Yanmar 6 cylindres 6EY26W<\/a> \u00e0 quatre temps et \u00e0 vitesse moyenne, g\u00e9n\u00e9rant une puissance maximale de 1 920 kW (2 610 ch) \u00e0 750 tr\/min. L’\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectrique de Geir est g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e par deux g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs diesel Yanmar 6 cylindres, 6EY18ALW<\/a>, d’une puissance de 800 kW (1 088 hp), 750 kWe \u00e0 900 tr\/min. Les moteurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en service par notre concessionnaire norv\u00e9gien de confiance, Maritim Motor, et, en collaboration avec des coll\u00e8gues japonais, le projet a dur\u00e9 deux ans, de la signature \u00e0 la livraison du navire. Attention \u00e0 l’environnement et aux conditions de travail<\/h2>\n\n

Le nouveau Geir est le mod\u00e8le ST-156XL de Skipsteknisk. Le navire est sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7u pour la p\u00eache \u00e0 la palangre par l’interm\u00e9diaire d’un moonpool, dot\u00e9 d’un syst\u00e8me autoline de 70 000 hame\u00e7ons. Un moonpool est une ouverture dans la base de la coque, donnant acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l’eau en dessous, ce qui permet \u00e0 l’\u00e9quipage de travailler \u00e0 l’abri des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques difficiles. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de p\u00eache et le concepteur ont travaill\u00e9 en \u00e9troite collaboration pour d\u00e9velopper un navire tr\u00e8s efficace, en se concentrant sur l’empreinte environnementale, l’environnement de travail et la qualit\u00e9 du produit final. <\/p>\n\n

Le nouveau palangrier a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit par Vaaglad B\u00e5tbyggeri en Norv\u00e8ge. La coque a \u00e9t\u00e9 construite par le chantier naval polonais Stocznia Wisla. Le navire a une capacit\u00e9 de cong\u00e9lation de 60 tonnes par jour, une capacit\u00e9 de transport de 500 tonnes et peut accueillir 22 personnes. Geir sera livr\u00e9 en mai 2020. <\/p>\n\n
