Fart\u00f8yet er bygget av Sefine Shipyard i Tyrkia etter design fra M\u00f8re Maritime, og opererer i norske farvann der det transporterer og foredler fisk. <\/p>\n\n<p>Hun er stor, 83,2 meter lang og 30,9 meter bred, og har et samlet br\u00f8nnvolum for lagring av fisk p\u00e5 7500 kubikkmeter. Den er konstruert for \u00e5 kunne behandle opptil 1 000 tonn fisk i timen, og fordi br\u00f8nnen er s\u00e5 stor, utsettes fisken for minimalt med stress. Motorene er kjent for \u00e5 v\u00e6re sv\u00e6rt kostnadseffektive b\u00e5de n\u00e5r det gjelder drivstofforbruk og vedlikehold. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Det at skipet er spesialbygget i stedet for \u00e5 v\u00e6re en modifisering av et eksisterende design, har gjort det mulig for operat\u00f8rene \u00e5 optimalisere alt om bord. Wingan fortsetter:   <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Generatorene g\u00e5r hele tiden. Jobben de gj\u00f8r, er ekstremt viktig b\u00e5de for den generelle sikkerheten p\u00e5 fart\u00f8yet og for fiskens velferd. De driver azimuter, baugpropeller, sirkulasjonspumper, oksygensystemer, avlusingsutstyr og et ferskvannsproduksjonssystem i tillegg til de andre vanlige skipssystemene.  <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>Det er et omfattende elektronikkstyringssystem som gir fleksibilitet. Wingan forklarer:   <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Systemet er automatisert med kontroll lokalt eller direkte fra styrehuset, der stopp\/start-operasjonen for det meste styres.
